Most of the vines were planted in 1985. The grape variety cultivated today are, as follows: Nero d’Avola, Merlot, Cabernet, Syrah, and Sangiovese etc.The microclimate is influenced by the Belice River which makes the temperatures low and allow a slow and perfect grape maturation.
